This guide provides a clear overview of how to place an order with Cityfurnish.

How to Place an Order

To place an order, download the Cityfurnish mobile app or visit the Cityfurnish website at www.cityfurnish.com. Browse through categories like furniture and appliances, and explore the products that best suit your needs. Each product page displays important details such as:

  • Monthly rental amount
  • Refundable security deposit
  • Available rental tenures

Steps to Place an Order

  1. Select the items you wish to rent and add them to your cart.
  2. Choose your preferred rental duration — longer tenures often offer better monthly rates.
  3. Review your cart carefully to ensure the delivery address and product details are correct.
  4. Proceed to checkout.

Payment Process

Once you proceed, make the payment for your first month’s rent and refundable security deposit using your preferred payment method. Cityfurnish accepts multiple secure payment options, including:

  • Credit and debit cards
  • Net banking
  • UPI
  • Digital wallets
  • No-cost EMI (on eligible cards)

All payments are processed through secure payment gateways, and Cityfurnish never stores your card details.

KYC Verification

After completing your payment, you’ll be prompted to complete your KYC (Know Your Customer) verification. The process is automated and usually completes instantly. In a few cases, manual verification may be required, which typically takes less than 24 hours. If any clarification or additional documents are needed, our support team will reach out to you.

Once both your payment and document verification are complete, your order is confirmed. You’ll receive a confirmation email with your Order ID for tracking purposes.

Order Verification and Delivery Scheduling

After confirmation, your order moves to the verification and scheduling stage. KYC verification is generally instant, but if any documents are missing, our team will contact you promptly. Once verified, your order is approved and scheduled for delivery.

Delivery typically takes 2 to 3 working days, depending on product availability and your location.

Invoice and Payment Receipt

After successful order placement, a payment receipt is sent to your registered email. You can also download your invoice anytime by logging into your Cityfurnish account under the My Orders section.

If you require a GST-compliant invoice, please ensure your company’s GSTIN is added during checkout. GST invoices cannot be modified after payment, so make sure details are correct before confirming your order.

What If I Don’t Get an Order Confirmation?

If your payment is deducted but the order is not created, please don’t worry. This may occur due to temporary banking or network delays. In such cases:

  • The deducted amount is usually refunded automatically within 5 to 7 business days.
  • If the refund does not appear, share your payment reference ID and registered email by raising a service request or using the chat option on the Cityfurnish website or app.

Our team will verify your payment and assist you immediately. If the payment was successfully received but the order wasn’t generated, we’ll manually verify and process your order as quickly as possible.
